These Peanut Butter Cookie S'mores are better than the original s'more because they are made with soft, chewy peanut butter cookies. Someone made this popular summer treat better, and it's better than ever!

– 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, room temperature – 1 cup brown sugar – 1/2 cup white granulated sugar – 1 large egg – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1/2 cup peanut butter DRY INGREDIENTS – 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour – 3/4 tsp baking soda – 1/2 tsp baking powder – 1/4 tsp salt

Heat the oven to 350F. When the butter and sugar are mixed together, they become fluffy.

Add the egg and vanilla and beat them in. Then add the peanut butter and mix it in.

Mix the dry ingredients with a whisk, then add the wet ingredients and fold them in. Do not mix too much.

Make dough balls with a 1 1/4-inch scoop and put them on a cookie sheet that hasn't been greased.

Spread the dough out a bit and make cross hatch marks with the back of a fork.

If the dough sticks to the fork, run it through a little water first.

Step 6

After baking for 8 to 9 minutes, let the cookies cool a bit on the pan before moving them to a rack. As always, make your s'mores.
