Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Mini chocolate chip cookies that are scrumptious and easy to snack on, with only two chips in each biscuit. Consume them like popcorn for a snack!

– 1/2 cup butter flavor Crisco shortening – 1/3 cup white sugar – 1/3 cup golden brown sugar, firmly packed – 1 tsp vanilla extract – 1 large egg – 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour – 1/2 tsp salt – 1/2 tsp baking soda – 1 cup chocolate chips

Warm the oven up to 375F. Add the vanilla and cream the shortening, sugar, and salt together until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

Add the egg and mix it in, scraping the bowl's sides to make sure it's all mixed in. Mix the flour, salt, and baking soda together in a different bowl.

After adding the flour, mix it in until there are no more dry flour lines. Take 1/4-teaspoon amounts of dough and put them on a baking sheet.

Step 3

Place two chocolate chips on either side of each scoop of dough, and then roll it around in your hands. Put each round back on the baking sheet, one inch apart from the others.

Step 4

Put the baking sheet in the fridge for 15 minutes. While the first pan chills, you can start getting ready for the next one.

Step 5

Cool the cookies down. Bake them for about 6 minutes, or until they puff up but don't brown. The sides may be just beginning to turn golden.

The hot cookie sheet should be left to cool down before it can be used again. Do this again with all of the other cookies.
