Easy Blackberry Cobbler recipe

Blackberry cobbler prepared with Bisquick is simple yet delicious. To finish a summer supper, add whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

– 2 to 2 ½ cups fresh blackberries or frozen, thawed and drained – 1 cup granulated sugar divided use – ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice – 1 ¾ cups Bisquick mix – 1 cup whole milk – ½ cup unsalted butter melted

Warm the oven up to 350°F. Spray cooking spray on a 9x9-inch pan. Put away.

Mix the berries, ½ cup of sugar, and pumpkin pie spice together in a bowl. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring every now and then.

Add the rest of the sugar to a different bowl and mix the Bisquick mix and whole milk with a whisk until everything is well mixed.

Stir in the melted butter, and then pour the batter into the pan that has been prepped.

Spread the sugared berries out evenly on top of the batter, making sure to cover any extra sugar that's still in the bowl. You can add coarse sugar on top if you want to.

Place in the oven and bake for fifty to sixty minutes, or until the top is golden. It tastes best when it's warm and paired with ice cream.
