INGREDIENTS
– 3large onionscut into 1/4-inch slice– 2cupsall-purpose flour– 1 1/4teaspoonsbaking powder– 1teaspoononion powder– 1teaspoonpaprika– 1 1/2teaspoongarlic powder– 1 1/4teaspoonssalt– 2egg– 1 1/2cupsmilkor as needed– 1 1/2cuppanko bread crumb– 1/4teaspoonsalt– 5cupsoil for fryingor as needed

Carefully separate and set aside onion rings after peeling and cutting.

Mix flour, baking powder, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt in a medium basin.

Coat the onion slices with flour and set aside on a chopping board.

Whisk the egg and milk into the flour mixture with a fork.
In a shallow plate, place Panko breadcrumbs.

Fully coat the floured rings in batter, then drain on a wire rack until the batter stops dripping.

A deep-fryer or large pan should have 365 degrees F oil.
Dip each onion ring into the Panko crumbs, coating them well.

Deep fried a few rings at a time till golden brown, 2–3 minutes. Place fried items on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
Salt as needed and serve.
