Best Kitchen Sink Cookies Recipe

These cookies have everything: chocolate chips, caramel, toffee, and salty pretzels. They are the best mix of sweet and salty.

– 1 ½ cups unsalted butter room temperature – 1 cup granulated sugar – 1 cup packed light brown sugar – 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract – 2 large egg – 3 ¾ cups all-purpose flour spooned and leveled – 2 teaspoons baking soda – 1 ¼ teaspoons sea salt – 2 cups semisweet chocolate chip – 8 ounces Heath Bits O’Brickle English Toffee Piece – 1 cup Kraft Caramel Bit – 1 heaping cup coarsely chopped salted pretzel stick – flaky sea salt for topping

INSTRUCTION

Beat butter and sugars for 4 minutes in a stand mixer with the paddle attachment or a large bowl with an electric hand mixer.

After adding the eggs and vanilla, beat on medium speed for three to four more minutes.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━  

Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture slowly on low speed until barely mixed. Mix in chocolate chips, Heath Bits, and Caramel Bits.

Mix until everything is evenly mixed into dough. Gently stir in chopped pretzels. Cover and chill dough overnight or for 2 hours.

To bake the cookies, remove the dough from the fridge, preheat the oven to 350°F, and line baking pans with parchment paper.

Place 2 tablespoon dough balls at least 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets. To make the cookies as shown, press chocolate chips, caramel bits, and pretzel pieces on top of each dough ball before baking.

Bake 13-15 minutes till golden brown (soft centres). Sprinkle flaky sea salt on cookie tops if desired.

After 2-3 minutes on the cookie sheet, transfer the cookies to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
